Fulton, MO – A 2019 graduate of the Criminal Justice program at William Woods University (WWU) recently earned the highest distinction that a cadet can receive while attending the Missouri State Highway Patrol Academy in Jefferson City.
Olivia Imhoff, a Boonville native who graduated from WWU last spring with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, received the Patrol’s coveted Superintendent’s Award when her class of 31 cadets graduated from the academy earlier this winter. The Superintendent’s Award goes to the cadet who accumulates the highest number of points toward graduation in categories such as academics, firearms and physical fitness over the 25-week training course.
Imhoff began working as a State Trooper last month and is currently assigned to Troop F, Zone 9 in Montgomery City, Missouri.
The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice prepares students for a wide range of careers in the field, including law enforcement, agencies, industrial security, corrections and the judicial system. The program has three areas of emphasis, including Law Enforcement, Homeland and Industrial Securities, and Mental Health and Counseling.
