NEWS ADVISORY: William Woods University to make historic Athletic Department announcement

WHAT: William Woods University (WWU) President Dr. Jeremy Moreland will join WWU Athletic Director Steve Wilson and University and community leaders to make a groundbreaking announcement about the future of the University’s intercollegiate athletics program. A member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), William Woods athletics currently fields intercollegiate varsity teams in 24 sports.

WHEN: 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22

WHERE: Cement walkway outside of Dulany and Tucker Halls, on the campus of William Woods University, One University Avenue, Fulton Mo. 65251.

President Moreland and other University officials will be available for media interviews following the event. Parking for media is available at the lot at the corner of 12^th and Ewing Streets.
