William Woods University (WWU) is kicking off one new degree and two certificate programs designed to produce individuals skilled in the highly sought-after qualities of leadership, innovation and change.
Beginning in August for the fall 2021 semester, WWU will begin offering three new academic programs within its School of Business and Technology: an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Leadership; an undergraduate business certificate in Leadership, and a graduate-level business certificate in Strategic Innovation and Change. All three programs will be delivered on-line in convenient eight-week courses; students who opt for the A.A. degree in Leadership can also choose an on-campus, in-person program in a traditional semester format as well.
“In today’s highly-competitive work environment, employers want to see more out of their employees, including leadership skills, the ability to manage projects and people, flexibility to adapt to change, and strategic, innovative thinking,” said Dr. Jahnae H. Barnett, President of William Woods University. “By offering new opportunities on both the undergraduate and graduate level for working professionals to improve in these critical areas, William Woods is once again living up to its mission of being a professions-oriented University.”

The discount includes online courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in a variety of career-enhancing subjects such as education, business, psychology and cybersecurity.
