William Woods University (WWU) will host the inaugural Edify Women in Leadership Conference this week on campus, bringing together professional women from across central Missouri to explore opportunities in business, entrepreneurship and civic engagement. The conference will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 23 and 24, at WWU.
Free and open to the public, the conference will explore such topics as Interpersonal Leadership, Personal Development, Entrepreneurship and Branding and Emotional Intelligence and Balance. The event is being sponsored by the WWU Center for Leadership and Character.
“We are excited to provide this valuable conference on campus that spotlights the leadership of women and addresses topics that are directly applicable to the professional world,” said Dr. Jeremy Moreland, President of William Woods. “It is exactly these kinds of opportunities, sponsored by our WWU Center for Leadership and Character, that promote our professions-oriented mission at the University.”
