Children in mid-Missouri are invited to attend a holiday art camp, “Christmas in theWoods,” Dec. 5 at William Woods University.
The camp is open to youngsters ages 5-12 years old and will be held in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts. It is scheduled to run from 2:30 to 5 p.m., allowing families to attend the 67th Annual Fulton Jaycees Christmas Parade, which begins at 1 p.m. downtown.
The participants, called Kemper Kids, will get the chance to have fun with WWU art majors, make new friends, and create Christmas-related crafts to take home. Registration deadline is Dec. 2, and the form is available at www.williamwoods.edu/coxartgallery or by request from Nicole Petrescu in the arts center.
Registration forms and the $20 fee can be dropped off or mailed to Petrescu, One University Ave., Fulton, MO 65251. The fee covers camp supplies and refreshments. Those who register by Nov. 25 and WWU employees will receive a 10 percent discount. A second child in the same family will pay half the regular price.
