Fulton, MO – In a yearly tradition, William Woods University (WWU) is once again hosting its annual Faculty Art Show beginning today, Monday, January 6, at Kemper Center for the Arts. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, January 16 from 4-6 p.m., and the show will run until February 17.
Participants in this year’s show include Dr. Charles Dodoo, assistant professor of Studio Art and Director of the Mildred M. Cox Gallery; Rachel Deutmeyer, assistant professor of Photography; Bethanie Irons, assistant professor of Graphic Design and Valerie Wedel, assistant professor of Studio Art.
The annual art show has been held each year since establishment of a four-year degree in Art in 1964. It will feature a variety of artistic works, including painting, photography, new media, ceramics/sculpture, mixed media, and installation.
All art will be on display at the Mildred M. Cox Gallery in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts at William Woods. Admission to the Cox Gallery is free. It is open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
