William Woods University (WWU) has always been a leader in providing the K-12 education leaders of tomorrow, including superintendents, administrators and principals. Now, the University is stepping up its superintendent and principal preparation game through the creation of new online graduate degree cohort program in Education.
Beginning with the eight-week online term that begins March 7, WWU will offer a hybrid online cohort for its Educational Leadership Master’s, Specialist and Doctorate programs, providing current students with an opportunity to join a cohort of practicing Education professionals with whom they can develop lifelong bonds and friendships. Students in the cohort will have degree plans charted from start to finish, and as part of their studies, will engage online and synchronously via Zoom weekly with Education professionals already working in the industry.
In addition to the weekly meetings, students in the cohort will have the opportunity to actively participate in online discussions with Education professionals and each other in addition to their studies.
The interaction with current Education professionals in the new Educational Leadership cohort will help lay the groundwork for preparing the next generation of K-12 leaders.
