In a yearly autumn tradition, William Woods University (WWU) will host its annual Faculty Art Show beginning this Friday, November 10, at Kemper Center for the Arts. There will be an opening reception on Wednesday, November 15 from 4-6 p.m., and the show will run until December 21.
Participants in this year’s show include Jane Mudd, Assistant Professor of Art; Terry Martin, Professor of Visual Arts; Bob Elliott, Assistant Professor of Graphic Arts; Nicole Petrescu, Coordinator of the Mildred M. Cox Gallery and adjunct faculty member; and Valerie Wedel and Jennifer Wiggs, adjunct professors of Art.
The annual art show has been held each year since establishment of a four-year degree in art in 1964. It will feature a variety of artistic works, including painting, photography, new media, ceramics/sculpture, mixed media, and installation.
All art will be on display at the Mildred Cox Gallery in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts at William Woods. Admission to the Cox Gallery is free. It is open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
