Fulton, MO – The Mainstage Season Series for the 2024-2025 academic year at William Woods University(WWU) will finish up this week with the final stage play of the season. The University’s drama department will present a unique production bringing together the best of the Theatre and Music departments at WWU in a show entitled “Cabaret at The Woods.” This week’s stage production will begin with the opening performance on Thursday, April 10 at Dulany Auditorium on the WWU campus.
In “Cabaret at The Woods,” audiences will experience the talents and creativity of the university’s Music and Theatre departments, as the two will join forces to present a wide variety of music genres in a stripped-down format.
“It has been another great year of theatre at The Woods, and a unique presentation like Cabaret at The Woods that draws upon the wonderful talents of our university’s singers and performers is the perfect way to finish the year,” said Joe Potter, Artistic Director of the William Woods University Theatre Department. “Come join us for an entertaining, unique production brought to you by our impressive William Woods actors and singers.”
Performances for Cabaret at The Woods will take place April 10 – 12 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee showing on Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m., all in Dulany Auditorium, and the play is suitable for all ages. All seating is now in a general admission format.
