WWU’s Alpha Chi Omega Chapter Earns High Honors

The Alpha Chi Omega chapter at William Woods University recently received four national awards, including the Continuing Excellence Award, which was awarded to only six chapters across the nation.

“This award recognizes chapters for their hard work across the field and is a great honor, as it recognizes us as one of the top Alpha Chi Omega chapters in the nation,” said Molly Borgmeyer of Columbia, who is president.

The chapter also received the Excellence in Recruitment Award, the Excellence in Academic Achievement Award and the Lyre Award, which was a silver platter engraved with the chapter’s name, Delta Chi.

National Vice President Marsha Grady presented the awards Sept. 25 during a visit to the chapter.

Delta Chi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega is celebrating its 40th anniversary at William Woods University. It was established in 1965 with the assistance of the Alpha Nu Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Missouri.
