WWU Welcomes Renowned Comedy Hypnotist

Popular comedy hypnotist Frederick Winters will perform at William Woods University at 8 p.m. Nov. 14 in Cutlip Auditorium. The performance is free and open to the public.

Frederick Winters

Winters is a certified hypnotherapist who has performed more than 2,000 shows and hypnotized more than 125,000 people. He was voted Entertainer of the Year for 2006 by Campus Activities Magazine.

He became interested in hypnotism as a student at Northwestern University. He says he enjoys performing at smaller venues, like William Woods, as this allows him to create more interactive experiences for audiences.

“It’s like this: I love what I do. I truly enjoy the advisors, students and executives who work with me each day to insure a successful show – and I love demonstrating hypnosis and the powers of the human mind to anyone who will watch!” says Winters.

The program is sponsored by the WWU Office of Admissions. For more information, contact Kate Engemann at (573) 592-4234 or kengemann@williamwoods.edu.
