Spring Break is coming, and with it, students tend to spend too much time in the sun. The nurse practitioner at William Woods University has arranged for representatives of Ellis Fischel Cancer Center to come to WWU to discuss skin cancer and the effects of sun exposure.
The event will take place at noon Wednesday (March 11) in the Ivy Room, on the lower level of Tucker Dining Hall. Focus will be on prevention, early detection and screening. After the event, a nurse clinician will provide exposed skin screenings at 12:45.
The event is free and open to the public.
