WWU to Initiate New Members into Education Honorary Society

William Woods University will initiate six new members into the Nu Rho Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi education honorary society April 21.

Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society organized to recognize excellence in education. Education students who have completed 60 hours or more and have achieved a grade point average of 3.25 or above are eligible for induction.

The new William Woods initiates are: Darla Deimeke of Martinsburg; Sarah Dyer of Raytown, Mo.; Ginger Forsythe of Hermann; Megan Rice of Mexico, and Marilyn Truitt and George Yates, both of Fulton.

Michael Tan, WWU associate professor of education, is the counselor for the Nu Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Pi.
