WWU to Host Legislative Candidate Forum on Children

“Is it Good for the Children?” is the question to be posed to the legislative candidates from the 10th, 20th, and 21st districts when William Woods University hosts a political forum.

The forum is co-sponsored by the social work program and the political/legal studies program and will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 in Aldridge Lounge on the WWU campus.

Invited are candidates Gary Linnenbringer and Terry L. White, 10th district; Danie Moore and John Stafford, 20th district, and Lloyd Becker and Steve Hobbs, 21st district.

Questions will be raised by students in both programs, but the audience will also have an opportunity to submit questions. These questions will all surround the topic “Is it Good for the Children?” so anything about juvenile delinquency, school funding, Medicaid, child abuse/neglect, etc. will be discussed.
