As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a representative from CARDV (Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence) will educate William Woods University students about domestic violence prevention and how to create awareness of the issue.
The program is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, in the Ivy Room on the lower level of Tucker Dining Hall.
In addition, the students will learn about different situations the victims of domestic violence are in and the struggles they endure.
The event will conclude with students painting canvases with facts and quotes for CARDV to hang up in their shelter.
Domestic Violence Awareness is the national philanthropy of Alpha Chi Omega, one of the four sororities on the William Woods campus.
