WWU Students Judge at Arabian U.S. Nationals

William Woods University’s judging team, which recently won the championship at the Morgan Grand Nationals in Oklahoma City, continues to rack up the awards.

 


The team competed in Tulsa, Okla., in the U.S. Nationals, one of the most prestigious North American championships in the Arabian show horse industry. Of the 20 collegiate teams at the contest, the WWU team was ranked seventh.

 

In addition, Melanie Crum of Sharpsburg, Ga., placed fourth overall in the collegiate individual halter division, out of approximately 100 contestants.

 

Also, Isabelle Hilgers of Warrenville, Ill., placed sixth in the collegiate individual halter division, and she also placed eighth in the overall highpoint collegiate individual competition, also out of approximately 100 contestants.
