WWU Students Inducted into Biology Honor Society

William Woods University inducted 10 students into the Pi Phi chapter of the Beta Beta Beta (Tri Beta) National Biological Honor Society.


Chosen members are Anne Eime of Columbia, Ill.; Alicia Green of Midlothian, Texas; Aubrey Harwood of Los Lunas, N.M.; Allyson Hawkins of Tucson, Ariz.; April Jones of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Julia Peairs of Chandler, Ariz.; Gentry Pickett of Lafayette, La.; Alexis Scott of Mapleton, Ill.; Shelby Vohsen of Warrenton, Mo.; and Lucas Watson of Louisiana, Mo.

 

Beta Beta Beta is a national biological honor society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study, as well as extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.

 

To be eligible for initiation, students must complete a minimum of three biology majors’ classes at WWU with a minimum grade point average of 3.25 in their biology classes.
