WWU Students Compete at St. Louis Area Dressage Show

Three William Woods University equestrian students competed at St. Louis Area Dressage Society Summer Festival , June 11-12 . Each of the riders came home with multiple awards.

 

Claire Sexauer of Columbia, Mo., rode Chantucci, to earn the overall championship (all divisions) at Training Level for the entire show, as well as the high scoring dressage test. Sexauer also earned qualifying scores for Regionals.

 

Laura Weatherspoon of Fulton, Mo., showed Exquisite TC in three classes, and brought home three third-place ribbons at Training and First Level. Weatherspoon earned qualifying scores for Regionals.

 

Maggie O’Leary of Florissant, Mo., and Clancy, a young Thoroughbred/Shire cross gelding, won two third-place ribbons and two fourths at Training Level.  O’Leary earned qualifying scores for Regional Finals.
