WWU Student Wins Pinto Congress Championship

An equestrian student from William Woods University won a Congress Championship on Purely Zip N Rock at the Pinto Congress and Futurity Horse Show, Nov.7-11 in Tulsa, Okla. Twenty seven states were represented.

Frankie Hart of Lee’s Summit, Mo., on Purely Zip N Rock, won Congress Champion in Novice Youth Hunt Seat Equitation and Reserve Champion Novice Youth High Point. She also earned Reserve Congress Champion in Novice Youth Showmanship, Reserve Congress Champion in Novice Youth Western Pleasure, 4th in Novice Youth Disciplined Rail Western and 5th in Novice Youth Trail.

In addition, Lindsey Schoelen of Franklin, Tenn., rode Ultimate Investment to receive 3rd in Novice Amateur Trail, 3rd in Novice Amateur Horsemanship, 3rd in Novice Amateur Showmanship and 4th in Novice Amateur Western Pleasure.

Jennie Petterson, clinical instructor of equestrian science at WWU, and Purely Zip N Rock placed 4th in Open Ideal Pinto English.

Both horses shown are owned by William Woods University.
