WWU Student Wins Award in Art Exhibition

William Woods University student Tracey Potts of Columbia was one of the winners in a recent Columbia Art League exhibition. She is a senior graphic design major at WWU.

Her “Libra, Cancer and Gemini” bronze mask triptych received third place in the New Year’s Visions art exhibition.

Entries for the exhibition pertained to the Eastern or Western Zodiac or the artist’s own New Year’s vision. Terry Suhre, gallery director and professional artist from Gallery 210 at St. Louis University, was the juror.

The Columbia Art League gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The New Year’s Visions exhibition will be on display through March 3.
