WWU Show Choir Performs Spring Concert

Despite cold temperatures outside, the First
Impressions Show Choir of William Woods University warmed up Dulany Auditorium
Friday evening, performing a spring concert that featured
a variety of musical styles, including jazz, Broadway and pop.

Songs included “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, “Proud” by Heather
Small, “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” by Cher, “Firework” by Katy Perry, a
mash-up of “Survivor” and “I Will Survive” by the cast of Glee, “Man in the
Mirror” by Michael Jackson and Joyful Noise, and “Imagine” by John Lennon and
the cast of Glee.

Members of First Impressions are Melissa Williams of St. Louis, Mo., Maggie
Hunter of Columbia, Mo.; Jonathan Meyer of Creve Coeur, Mo.; Kyle Hendrix of
St. Charles, Mo.; Brynn Shaw of Kingdom City, Mo.; Jen Steindorf of San Diego,
Calif.; Susan Jackson of Park Hills, Mo.; Alex Gleeson of Hermann, Mo.; Alison
Heifner of Potosoi, Mo.; Deborah Duval of Tulsa, Okla.; Samantha Watts of
Hayward, Wis., and Trevor Gruber of Holt, Mo. The choir is directed by Michael
Dodson, a WWU graduate assistant.
