WWU Plans Earth Day Activities for Children

A recycled and nature art activity day for Kemper Kids will
be held at William Woods University April 22 in conjunction with Earth Day.

The university’s art club, the Thriving Artists Group (TAG),
in collaboration with the Rosa Parks Center, will sponsor activities 4-5:30
p.m. in the lobby of Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts.

The event is free and open to children of all ages. All
materials will be provided free.

“Art club members will assist children in taking their Earth
Day pledge and in making ‘green’ art in recognition of Earth Day,” Jen Sain,
gallery coordinator, said.
