WWU Plans Career Fair

William Woods University will hold a career and graduate school fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 30) in the Helen Stephens Sports Complex gymnasium.

Called “Career Connections ’07…It’s a Jungle Out There,” the fair is open to the public, but is especially geared for WWU undergraduate and graduate students and students from other area institutions.

The theme and all the promotional materials (posters, logo, etc.) were generated as a graphic design class project under the direction of Professor Bob Elliott.

“Career Connection ’07 is an exciting opportunity to bring area employers and our students together so they can each learn more about one another,” Michelle Kemp, director of Career Services & Student Success, said.

“We have some remarkable students who have a lot to offer employers. Likewise, there are great companies that will be attending the career fair that have very exciting and interesting employment and internship opportunities available.”

Companies interested in participating in the fair can find all the details and registration form online at www.williamwoods.edu/careerfair or may contact Kemp at (573) 592-4313.
