WWU Names DeHart Outstanding Junior

Ann DeHartAnne DeHart of Keosauqua, Iowa, received a Student Alumni Council Outstanding Junior Award at William Woods University’s recent co-curricular honors banquet.

 


The Outstanding Student Awards are the only awards at William Woods University bestowed on students by the nomination and vote of other students. Nominees must demonstrate academic achievement, campus and community involvement and leadership.

 

DeHart has been secretary, committees director and Panhellenic delegate for Chi Omega sorority. She also has been vice president of both the Panhellenic Council and Greek Council.

 

She is president of Order of Omega Greek honor society, vice president of Beta Beta Beta biology honor society, treasurer of Biology Club, and a member of Alpha Chi Honorary, Student Alumni Council and the William Woods Hunter/Jumper Show Team.

 

She has volunteered with the Fulton Special Olympics, the food pantry, a service-learning project with the local animal shelter and a Biology Club fundraiser for UNICEF.
