WWU Faculty Art Show Opens

The CanoeWilliam Woods University’s annual faculty art exhibit will open Thursday, Sept. 30. A reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts. It is free and open to the public.


The Mildred Cox Gallery will display current artwork of WWU faculty members through Oct. 30.  The exhibit will feature work by Paul Clervi, Bob Elliott, Ken Greene, Terry Martin and Jane Mudd, and will include sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry and painting.


RakuA special feature this year is a premier viewing of an independent film project, “Midnight Lyric,” by the newest member of the arts division faculty, Jason Knowles.


Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the gallery is free. For more information, call (573) 592-4245.
