William Woods University will hold its annual Winter Fun Show March 7-9. Everyone is encouraged to participate and the event is open to the public.
There will be classes for hunter/jumpers, saddle seat and western riders. Students will compete in all levels, from beginners to advanced. All breeds will be represented, and students will ride university-owned horses. Outside horses will also compete.
The show will be held over three days, with a jumper show on Friday, a hunter show on Saturday and a saddle seat/western show on Sunday.
The Winter Fun Show is recognized by the Missouri Horse Shows Association and the Missouri Hunter Jumper Organization. Entry fees include a $10 office fee per horse, and hunter/jumper classes are $15 each. For the western and saddle seat show, entry fees are $10 per class. There are a limited number of stalls available for outside horses. The show is free for spectators to watch.
