WWU Equestrians Take Home Honors From Calvary Show

William Woods University riders and horses took home ribbons from the Calvary Episcopal Charity Horse Show Oct. 16-19 at the Midway Exposition Center in Columbia, Mo.

Alyssa Wick of Hugo, Minn., showed Jimmy to win 1st place ribbons in both Morgan Open English Pleasure and Morgan English Pleasure Championship and 3rd in Morgan Amateur English Pleasure.

Kayla Kring of Louisville, Ky., rode Charm to receive 3rd place in Open Park Pleasure and 5th in Park Pleasure Championship.

Tara Rechkemmer of Papillion, Neb., showed Sam to 2nd place in Open Park Pleasure and 6th in Park Pleasure Championship.

Nicole Wallace of Grand Blanc, Mich., riding King, won 1st place in 3-Gaited Show Pleasure and 3rd in 3-Gaited Show Pleasure Championship.

Kaitlin Short of Lee’s Summit, Mo., showed Champagne to receive 2nd in 5-Gaited Show Pleasure Championship and 6th in 5-Gaited Show Pleasure.

Erica Mundt of Urbandale, Iowa, rode Citation to 2nd place in 5-Gaited Show Pleasure and 3rd in 5-Gaited Show Pleasure Championship.

Nick Royer of Oconomowoc, Wis., rode Pete to receive 4th in 5-Gaited Show Pleasure.
Bridgette Doig of Escondido, Calif., and Candice Boehm of Tehachapi, Calif., also competed in the show.
