WWU Competes in MHSA Kick-Off Show

The Missouri Horse Show Association recently held its kick-off show in Columbia. WWU equestrian students riding university-owned horses competed with other equestrians to start off the show season.


Elise Hagenow of Manchester, N.H., and CH Sportster received champion in Amateur Park and Amateur Park Stake.


Jesse West of Gaston, Ore., and Unbreakable Heart won the reserve champion USEF Adult Saddle Seat Medal. They also took home champion in ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Novice Adult, sixth in ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Adult and fifth in ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Championship.


Erica Santa of Longmeadow, Mass., and Vahalla’s King Of Hearts received reserve champion ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Adult and sixth in ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Championship.


Addie Miller of Watertown, Minn., and CH Nothin’ But Spice placed fourth in ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Adult and fourth in ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Championship.


Brittany White of Kewadin, Mich., and Keep It Simple received fifth in ASB Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Adult.


Kaitlyn Alemian of East Weymouth, Mass., rode The Gal Next Door and took reserve champion in MHSA Open English Pleasure. Alemian also rode Winsdown Art Work and placed third in ASB Amateur Five-Gaited and fourth in ASB Amateur Five-Gaited Amateur Stake.


Erica Mundt of Urbandale, Iowa, and The Dixie Doodle won champion ASB Park Pleasure Amateur and reserve champion in ASB Park Pleasure Championship.

Michelle Macklin of Key Biscayne, Fla., and Circle of A Promise placed third in ASB Park Pleasure Amateur and third in ASB Park Pleasure Amateur Championship.
Kelly Nadler of Foley, Mo., and Certainly A Star won champion in the ASB Park Stake and placed third in ASB Park Amateur.
