Articles by Travis Tamerius, William Woods University chaplain, are featured in a book, “The Upper Room Disciplines 2008: A Book of Daily Devotions.”
According to Tamerius, “The Upper Room” is one of the longest running and most widely read devotional guides in the world and has been in production since the 1930s. Each year a new edition is published that features the work of several different authors, including both clergy and laypersons.
Each writer chooses a theme upon which to base a series of daily meditations. Tamerius’ theme was “Finding God in the Meager,” and his articles explore what it means to find God at work in the patterns of daily life. His articles cover the week of July 28-Aug. 3, 2008.
The ecumenical devotional guide was released in July and can be purchased at Christian book stores and through online retailers such as Amazon.com.
