WWU Captures Ribbons at Irish Fox Stables Show

William Woods University took riders and 15 horses to the Irish Fox Stables Show in St. Louis on Nov. 7, and members of the hunter jumper show team brought home too many ribbons to count.


Some of the superstars were:


· Rachel Davis of Wright City, Mo., winner of the 2004 Missouri Horse Shows Association Senior Medallion Finals;


· Jenna Stimac of St. Charles, Mo., and Second Time Around, champions in the Novice Adult and the Non-Pro Hunter divisions;


· Natalie Blatnick of Marengo, Ill., and Ransom, champions in the Adult Amateur Hunter division, and


· Mollie Edwards of Moses Lake, Wash., and Charmed, reserve champions in the open hunter division.


Colleen Harper Hertzog of Fulton, Mo., and Django won blue ribbons in the jumpers, as did Esther Holleman of Mandeville, La., and Paree, and Rachel Davis and Netherlands.


Other ribbon winners were: Emily Thomasson of Madison, Tenn., and Detante; Jon McCarthy of Rockford, Ill., and Chunky Monkey; Sarah Dailey of Fulton, Mo., and Dempsey; Elise Bellefontaine of Bowmanville, Ontario., and March Forth; Betsy Irvin of Ballwin, Mo., and Jenkins; Ashley Stannard of Plymouth, Minn., and Outstanding; Rachel Davis and Cartier; Dorothy Topa Hanover Park, Ill., and Copenhagen, and Audrey Rickert of Lincolnshire, Ill., and Brother Bentley.
