WWU Art Students Stage Senior Art Show

Four William Woods University art students who be graduating in December will exhibit their work at the university Nov. 29–Dec. 9. They are calling their show “The World Through Our Eyes.”

An opening reception for the senior art show will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29.

The exhibit will feature work from seniors Deena Cooley of Powell, Wyo., Holly Dirnberger of Oran, Mo., and Cory Mills of Springville, Utah, who will each earn a bachelor of science in graphic design, and Shannon Preston of Fulton, Mo., who will receive a bachelor of fine art in art education.

The artwork is exhibited in the Mildred Cox Gallery of the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts. The Cox Gallery is open to the public, free of charge, Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4 p.m. Call 573-592-4245 for more information.
