WWU alum’s bucket list topic of program

If adventure is on your bucket list, this upcoming program is
for you!

A recent William Woods University graduate, Courtney Yantes
was intrigued and inspired by her studies of Kenya during Woods Around the
World.  She decided to visit Kenya on her
own, boarding a plane and flying out of her comfort zone. Twice.

In a program titled “Dangerous Business: Life Beyond My Front
Door,” she will talk about her experiences and the lessons she learned while
travelling abroad. The program is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, in
Thurmond Chapel.

She’ll also give the audience ideas for where they can go
with their own lives and how to make a difference.

Yantes graduated from William Woods in 2007 with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in history and a minor in American Sign Language.  She completed her MBA at WWU in 2010. She is
the early childhood grants coordinator at the Ohio Center for Autism and Low
Incidence.
