Work of two art professors deemed BEST of Missouri

Two William Woods University art professors have had paintings selected as finalists in the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) competition.

Jane Mudd’s Girl in White Dress and Terry Martin’s Deer in the Forest are among the 11 paintings judged to be BEST of Missouri! 2004 finalists. The paintings are on exhibit at the Lodge of the Four Seasons Library Gallery until March 28.

Each gallery guest will be invited to submit a ballot indicating the painting of his or her choice. Results of the popular vote will be announced April 14 by Missouri First Lady Lori Hauser Holden.

Thirty-four additional paintings are also on display in the Exhibition Hall Foyer at the Lodge of the Four Seasons. Included among those is one by WWU alumna Cindy Dietrich Logan, titled “Colorado Patterns.”
