Two new members have joined the William Woods University Board of Trustees, including one originally from Callaway County. Vicki Wilkerson, a native of Auxvasse, and Wyatt Guthrie are the new members.
Wilkerson is a 1977 graduate of William Woods with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and paralegal studies. While attending William Woods, she was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority.
She recently began a new position leading global trade compliance for SalesForce.com in San Francisco. SalesForce is the number one technology employer in San Francisco and a global leader in CRM (customer relationship management) in sales, service, marketing and other areas utilizing cloud computing.
Wilkerson has spent her post-WWU years working in the legal and technology fields in the San Francisco area. Prior to joining SalesForce, she was a global trade compliance officer for Fortinet, Inc. Her experience includes working for a number of technology startup companies, including one founded by Steve Jobs prior to his success at Apple.
Guthrie, of Glendale, Arizona, recently began a new career with Circle K of Arizona in the area of operations. Prior to Circle K, he spent 10 years working for Domino’s Pizza.
His employment with Domino’s began in the Sikeston, Missouri, store, working as a shift manager, assistant manager, and finally as store manager. He then pursued opportunities in the corporate world of Domino’s, first in St. Louis and later in Phoenix as an operations expert.
A graduate of WWU’s non-traditional program, Guthrie received his Bachelor of Science degree in management with a concentration in human resources through cohort offerings in Sikeston. He is pursuing an MBA through WWU’s online offerings.
