William Woods University Selects New King, Queen

CourtWarming CourtWilliam Woods University recently announced a CourtWarming King and Queen, selected by vote of the student body. Clint Presley, a senior sports management major from Winfield, Mo., was selected CourtWarming King, and Frankie Hart, a junior equestrian science and graphic design double major from Lee’s Summit, Mo., was chosen Queen.


Members of the CourtWarming court were: Kristin Garnett of Jefferson City, Mo.; Lindsey Scheets of Salem, Mo.; Rachel Baker of Mexico, Mo.; Skye Wade of Licking, Mo.; Nathan Thackeray of Manchester, England; Cody Morrow of Jefferson City, Mo.; Justin Cornelius of Oak Park, Ill., and Andy Hamilton of Troy, Mo.


Coronation of the Court took place Jan. 31 between the women’s and men’s basketball games against Missouri Baptist University in the Helen Stephens Sports Complex.


Throughout the week, WWU’s Student Alumni Council sponsored events to encourage school spirit.
