William Woods University will hold its annual Fall Festival Horse Show during Fall Family Weekend Saturday, Oct. 15, in the Large Indoor Arena.
The show will feature WWU equestrians in all four riding seats offered at William Woods—saddle seat, dressage, western and hunter/jumper.
Jumping will be highlighted in the morning, from about 10:30 to noon. The jumpers will be followed by portions of saddle seat and western riding, which will end around 3 p.m. The show will then finish up with dressage.
Students participating are of all levels, from beginners through advanced. All breeds will be represented, and students will be riding university-owned horses.
While only WWU students can participate, everyone is invited to attend the show, which is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Laura Ward, chair of the division of equestrian studies, at 592-1153.
