William Woods University will welcome back a couple hundred alumni and break ground for new housing during Alumni Weekend April 25-27. “Let’s Do This” is the theme of this year’s celebration.
The weekend will be full of activities for alumni of all ages. A golf tournament, Tap Room at The Woods, alumni awards, and an alumni art show are just a few of the events.
Activities officially begin at 10 a.m. Friday with William Woods defending its crown against Westminster College in a golf tournament at Tanglewood Golf Course. At a cost of $50 per player, the tournament is open to alumni, spouses and friends of both schools.

Tap Room at The Woods, introduced last year, is back by popular demand. It opens at 6:30 p.m. in Aldridge. A buffet menu of assorted appetizers and specialized drinks will be available.
Saturday will be a continuous stream of activities, starting with the Alumni Awards Ceremony at 11 a.m. in Dulany Auditorium. In addition to awards, it will include presentation of 50-year medallions to the Class of 1964 and the installation of the new alumni board members.
