William Woods Students Named to Who’s Who

Fourteen William Woods University students have been named to the 2011 edition of “Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges,” based on their outstanding campus leadership.

Recipients are: Nickol Enns Beckemeier of Rolla, Mo.; Marisa Benthusen of Raymore, Mo.; Lisa Burke of Louisburg, Kan.; Ann DeHart of Keosauqua, Iowa; Lucy Fuelle of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Harrison Jones of Fulton, Mo.; Chelsea Loethen of Meta, Mo.; Melissa Smith of Fort Myers, Fla.; Lacey Sweeten of New Bloomfield, Mo.; Bryan Temme of Hermann, Mo.; Carmen Watchinski of Columbia, Mo.; Rachel Weber of Millstadt, Ill.; Melanie White of Manhattan, Kan., and Kaycee Wyatt of Wathena, Kan.

A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose the students based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

By being listed in “Who’s Who,” the students join an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
