William Woods Selects Inaugural Courtwarming Court

William Woods University began a new tradition Feb. 2, when its Inaugural Courtwarming King and Queen were announced between the men’s and women’s basketball games.

Adam Reed, a junior sports management major, was selected Courtwarming King and Lydia Gaboury, a senior physical education major, was chosen Queen. Both students are from Columbia, Mo.

Members of the first-ever Courtwarming court are:

Breanna Gustke of Valparasio, Ind.; Sarah Anderson of Manhattan, Kan.; TJ Quick of Fulton Mo.; Kathyrn Best of Medicine Hat, Canada; Da’kari Shelby of O’Fallon Ill.; Clint Presley of Winfield, Mo.; Cody Morrow of Jefferson City, Mo., and Jeff Smith of Mexico, Mo.

Throughout the week, WWU’s Student Alumni Council sponsored events to encourage school spirit.
