The William Woods University Western Club will sponsor a Western Fun Show Saturday, Sept. 27, in the UPHA Arena. The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Classes for western, hunter flat and saddle seat will be featured.

The show will be judged by WWU graduate Erin Springer from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She earned top awards with numerous WWU-owned horses at both Arabian, Sport Horse and Andalusian competitions in hunt, western, show hack, halter and side saddle classes.

On Sunday, Springer will conduct a clinic, allowing competitors to follow up with the judge to improve their next performance. The clinic will take place from 9 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m. (schedule pending) in the Rowland Applied Riding Arena.
