Three William Woods University senior theatre majors will demonstrate what they’ve learned the past four years when they perform their Senior Projects
March 5 and 6.
The show, at 7 p.m. in Dulany Auditorium, will feature Jason Flauaus of St. Charles, Christy Pinz of St. Peters and Lindsey Mertes of Branson. Each student has written their own script, which is something of a retrospective of their college performances. Included will be monologues, singing, dancing and multi-media presentations.
Senior Projects is the capstone course required of all theatre majors. According to Joe Potter, assistant professor and artistic director of theatre, students can choose projects that showcase set design, directing or performance, or they can write a research paper.
“We want them to feature what they’ve learned as performing artists,” Potter said.
All three seniors have performed in numerous stage productions while students at WWU. Their final show is free and open to the public.
