Students chosen for social work honorary at William Woods University

Three new members were chosen for Phi Alpha, the social work honor
society, at William Woods University this past academic year. They are:
 
Marissa Ballard of San Carlos, Calif.
Jessie Brunelle of Meridian, Idaho
Stephanie Chism of Sturgeon, Mo.
 
Phi Alpha’s central purpose is to provide a closer bond among students
of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals.
 
Candidates for undergraduate membership must be junior or senior social
work majors who exemplify
the ethical and professional values, attitudes, and conduct expected of
members of the social work profession. They must also have a minimum 3.4 grade point average
in general
scholarship and a minimum 3.7 in social work
scholarship.
