Student Earns Scholarship from William Woods University

Cody KernA New Hamburg, Mo., student received an academic scholarship from William Woods University.

 


Receiving the WWU Merit Scholarship was Cody Kern, the son of Randy and Theresa Kern. He intends to major in pre-med biology.

 

WWU Merit Scholars receive full tuition in the amount of $17,500. Recipients must have a minimum ACT of 32 or SAT of 1410 and a minimum 3.6 grade point average, be a National Merit Finalist or Valedictorian. They must also successfully complete the LEAD program, which encourages active student involvement in university life beyond the classroom at WWU.
