Student Earns Scholarship from William Woods University

A Curryville, Mo., student received an academic scholarship from William Woods University.

 


Debra ParrottReceiving the WWU Merit Scholarship was Debra Parrott, the daughter of William and Sandra Parrott.  She intends to major in pre-vet biology.

 

WWU Merit Scholars receive full tuition in the amount of $17,500. Recipients must have a minimum ACT of 32 or SAT of 1410 and a minimum 3.6 grade point average or be a National Merit Finalist.  They must also successfully complete the LEAD program, which encourages active student involvement in university life beyond the classroom at WWU.
