St. Louis Students Named Distinguished Scholars

Lauren Metcalf and Leah Novack, both of the St. Louis area, have been named 2004 Distinguished Scholars at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo.


Metcalf, the daughter of Wilson and Linda Metcalf, received the honor in accounting.
Novack received the honor in communications. She is the daughter of Glenn Novack of Cape Coral, Fla., and the late Constance Novack.


The faculty of various disciplines at William Woods have the opportunity each spring to designate one graduating senior as a Distinguished Scholar. A minimum grade point average of 3.4 is required, but the faculty may consider other relevant academic factors and variables in the selection process.
