Springfield Students Named Distinguished Scholars

Two Springfield, Mo., residents have been named 2008 Distinguished Scholars at William Woods University—Mary Peck in sports management and Nicholas Meinhardt in exercise science.

The faculty of various disciplines at William Woods have the opportunity each spring to designate one graduating senior as a Distinguished Scholar. A minimum grade point average of 3.4 is required, but the faculty may consider other relevant academic factors and variables in the selection process.
