Seana Lacombe of San Antonio, Texas, a senior at William Woods University, has been named to the 2008 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
The daughter of Robert Lacombe and Sheila McTaglie, she is majoring in American Sign Language interpreting.
Lacombe was one of 13 William Woods University students selected for Who’s Who, based on being an outstanding campus leader. A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose the students based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
By being listed in “Who’s Who,” Lacombe joins an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
She is a member of the Hands Up club and is their historian, served as a peer mentor, and is involved with Student Alumni Council. She has been on the Dean’s List every semester and is a member of Alpha Chi national scholarship society.
