A public reception will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, for two new art exhibits opening in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts on the William Woods University campus. The reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m.
Current work of WWU faculty will be displayed in the Mildred Cox Gallery Sept. 17-Oct. 17. Art professors will exhibit in a variety of media.
In addition, students taught by Terry Martin and Jane Mudd will present artwork in conjunction with this year’s One Read selection, “The Whistling Season.” Exhibited in the Corridor Gallery, this artwork will be based on the theme, “Beneath the Prairie Sky.”
Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, call (573) 592-4245.
