A public reception will be held Wednesday for two new art exhibits opening in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts on the William Woods University campus. The reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m.
Current work of WWU faculty will be displayed in the Mildred Cox Gallery Sept. 19-Oct. 15. Art professors will exhibit in a variety of media.
In addition, circus art done by students in conjunction with this year’s One Read selection, “Water for Elephants,” will be exhibited in the Corridor Gallery. The exhibit will remain through the end of the month and then move to Westwood Coffee Shop, 319 W. 4th St.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, call (573) 592-4245.
