Pi Kappa Alpha Raises Money for Jimmie V Foundation

The men of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at William Woods University raised more than $1,500 for the Jimmie V Foundation for Cancer Research, during their annual philanthropy, “Pike’s Peak.”

“This is the most money that we as a chapter have ever raised for a charity,” said Clayton Thompson of Vandalia, Mo. “We’re really proud of what we did, and we hope to do even better next year.”

The philanthropy took place Oct. 8-12 and included a serenade competition, hot wing contest, penny wars and various other events.
